Virtually all the OEMs have outsourced their Internet efforts. And with good reason, the skill set is an extra burden on current management, and can be accomplished less expensively through the services of a company like IDS.

We first of all meet with store management and everyone signs off on the process that will be implemented in that store. We establish an ongoing communication model with store management to facilitate success.

We then work with current staff or help select staff to work the Internet sales department. We begin training and selling cars immediately. We evaluate staff for the dealership and make recommendations for change if necessary. We are available to staff virtually 7 days a week. We set up a training schedule and a reporting schedule so that all parties know where we are in building and implementing the store’s own unique process.

We work out with management pricing guidelines, how to handle the back end process, and the trade in process, lease quoting process, and all the elements of Internet sales that are slightly different from floor operations.
